Low carbon approach

The four next questions determine your score. Each level assumes the previous one has been achieved.

1) Have you done a calculation of your company’s greehouse gaz emissions (GHG Protocol, BEGES, Diag Décarbonaction®, Bilan Carbone®,…) ? *

A "yes" qualifies your company for an "F" label or better.

If yes, which scopes were studied ?

A “Scope 3” answer qualifies your company for an "E" label or better (if F label is earned).

2) Has your company conducted product carbon footprints (PCF), environmental product declaration (EPD), life cycle analysis (LCA), or equivalent ? *

A positive answer and more than 50% of coverage qualifies your company for a "D" label or better (if label E is earned).

Attach the PCF or equivalent that best represent your business (optional).
Transparency : In your PCFs or equivalent, are the main emission factors used to calculate the footprint specified ? *
For instance, specific emission factors from your suppliers.

A positive answer qualifies your company for a "C" label or better (if D label is earned).

3. What proportion of your suppliers are actively engaged in reducing their greenhouse gas emissions ?

An engaged supplier :

  • measured their greenhouse gas emissions (GHG protocol or equivalent)
  • has implemented reduction measures in an action plan

And you analyzed and positively evaluated their strategy.

A statement of intent, a signed charter or a general CSR policy is not enough. If you do not have such information about your suppliers, enter 0.

More than 50% qualifies your company for a "B" label or better (if C label is earned).

4. Has your company set a reduction trajectory (to 2030 or 2050) ? *

A detailed trajectory, internally or externally validated, qualifies your company for an "A" label (if label B is earned).

This question does not count for the label but helps read the results.

Basic progress indicators

Here, we evaluate the implementation of reduction measures with a negative or near zero price and a direct impact on territorial emissions. This information does not change the label.

1) Vehicle fleet :

Hybrid vehicles do not belong in this category

2) Heated surfaces :

What is the size (surface) of your offices / warehouses heated with fossil fuels (gas, oil, coal, ...), and fossil fuel free (electricity, heat pump, green district heating, ...) ?

You can group all sites heated with fossil fuels on one line, and the fossil fuel free sites on another.
